Boulder revenue up in ‘09

February 15, 2010 – Daily Camera – The city of Boulder sales and use tax collections rose by .7% in 2009, according to the city’s new sales tax report.  City officials had expected tax revenue to be down by 1.9%.  While good news, the city remains cautious. Much of the revenue gain in 2009 was in one-time money including the federal “Cash for Clunkers” program and large construction projects.
