September 9, 2009 – Daily Camera – Nobel-prize winning scientist Tom Ceck believes cutting-edge research is hindered when labs are scattered in silos across campus and scientists work behind closed doors. So he sees tremendous promise in the University of Colorado’s forthcoming biotechnology building, which will bring scientists from eight departments under one roof so they can collaborate and explore complex medical problems, looking to develop new therapies for cancer, infectious diseases and cardiovascular disease.
