Radio and Television Stations

The metro Denver area is served by a large number of radio stations with a wide variety of formats, including four stations located in Boulder. Boulder’s KBCO (97.3 FM), one of the metro area’s most popular stations, broadcasts live from its studio near downtown Boulder. KGNU (88.5 FM) is an independent, non-commercial community radio station for Boulder, Denver and beyond. KCFC (1490 AM) is Boulder’s local Colorado Public Radio station carrying local and national public radio programming. KVCU (1190 AM) is a public, non-commercial radio station and part of a grant to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Broadcast television stations serving the metro Denver area include CBS affiliate KCNC, NBC affiliate KUSA, ABC affiliate KMGH, Fox affiliate KDVR, local stations KWGN and KDVT, and public television stations KRMA and KBDI.
