The University of Colorado at Boulder is the state’s flagship university. CU-Boulder is the largest and most comprehensive campus in Colorado with 28,988 students and 3,400 courses in 150 fields of study. It is home to four Nobel Laureates and offers 85 majors at the bachelor’s level, 61 at the master’s level and 48 at the doctoral level. The campus received $266.2 million in sponsored research awards in fiscal 2007, an increase of more than $100 million in the last decade.
