A CPA with 28 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, Gerry Agnes came to Elevations Credit Union from Altura Credit Union in Riverside, CA. There he served in a series of positions, including President/Chief Operating Officer; President of their subsidiary holding company that managed their insurance, mortgage, escrow and auto broker companies; and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Altura, he was the President/CEO of The Community Foundation serving Riverside and San Bernadino Counties; CFO of California Financial Bancorp; and Executive Vice President of HF Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiary, Hemet Federal Savings and Loan Association. He began his career as a CPA with Touche Ross & Co., a “big eight” accounting firm. Gerry currently volunteers service in several industry and community organizations, including the Boulder Economic Council as Executive Committee Chair; Boulder Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; Boulder County Business Hall of Fame Board of Directors; Elevations Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors; Filene Research Institute Advisory Council; and Board of Managers of the Credit Union Service Network (CUSN) Corporation, which provides cooperative shared branching services to credit unions and their members nationwide.
