As Colorado’s largest energy provider, Xcel Energy’s subsidiary, Public Service Company of Colorado, serves more than 2.5 million electric and natural gas customers. The company recently filed its Resource Plan with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, proposing to vastly expand its sources of renewable energy, while lowering the company’s emissions of carbon dioxide.
